Dear Readers,

We are back here with the April 2008 special issue of Java Jazz-up. From here onwards we are changing our trend of providing technical stuffs of different categories to the special issue on a single technology. This current April edition is designed as ‘Ajax’ special issue. Our all readers will find complete Ajax information through a well-organized collection of articles. The issue provides a large number of Ajax examples that will definitely be helpful to understand Ajax. We hope that the issue will prove to be perfectly suitable for all readers of different level of skills.

Ajax is one of the most frequently used technologies in the landscape of web application development. Ajax plays a major role in developing fast, interactive, dynamic and responsive web applications. Google made it popular by incorporating the technology in its search engine interface (Google Suggest, the most popular Ajax application) in the year 2005.

In addition as per the growing popularity of Ajax technology we have included two relevant tutorials on Ajax published in IBM developerWorks with consent. We are thankful to the team of IBM for granting permission regarding the same.

To make it interesting for readers we have categorized each section with different colors and images that would certainly lure readers while reading technological stuffs. We are providing it in PDF format that you can view and even download it as a whole or a part. This PDF version provides you a different experience.

Please send us your valuable feedback about this issue and participate in the reader’s forum with your problems and issues concerned with the topics you want us to include in our next issues.
