Dion Almaer
Dion Almaer is known as the founder and CTO of Adigio, Inc. as well as one of the java champions. He is a builder, adviser, and pragmatic of technologies where these technologies include J2EE, JDO, AOP, and Groovy.
He works as an Editor-in-Chief on TheServerSide.com J2EE Community. He has a membership of the Java Community Process, where he participates on various expert groups.

Dion has many contributions to the Java Community. He contributes online articles and weblog content on the O'Reilly Network. He is working as a columnist on Enterprise Java topics at openxource.com, and onjava.com. He has own website named almaer.com/blog where his blog can be founded.

Dion is also a Co-Author of Pragmatic, and the co-founder of Ajaxian.com (leading news source and community around the Ajax technology), the leading online Ajax community, and "Audible Ajax".

Dion has interest in writing, and speaking on various events such as JavaOne, JavaPolis, TheServerSide Java Symposium, and the No Fluff Just Stuff symposium tour and enjoys them very much. He also plays a role in JCP expert groups, and the open source community.

Dion is also known as a JavaOne RockStar of the Java Community. Currently he is a member of the Google Gears development team and working in the department of Developer API group.
